What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and cook menu items accurately and efficiently, following recipes, portion standards, and food-safety practices.
• Set up, stock, and maintain an organized station so the kitchen is ready for smooth service from opening through closing.
• Use strong knife skills and cooking techniques such as sautéing, broiling, batch cooking, and a la carte preparation to produce quality food.
• Maintain consistent food quality, temperature, presentation, and portion control while working with urgency during busy periods.
• Communicate clearly with fellow cooks and kitchen leadership to support timely ticket execution and a positive team environment.
• Assist with prep work, cleaning, inventory awareness, and safe storage practices that keep the kitchen running efficiently.

What You’ll Bring:

• You have prior experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, prep cook, grill cook, or in another fast-paced food-service kitchen role.
• You can follow recipes, food specifications, and portion-control standards while consistently delivering quality results.
• You demonstrate confident knife skills and safe, efficient use of kitchen equipment and cooking stations.
• You understand core food-safety, sanitation, and cleanliness practices and apply them throughout every shift.
• You are reliable, able to learn quickly, and comfortable collaborating with a team during high-volume service.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary Arts education or formal culinary training is welcomed, though practical kitchen experience and a strong work ethic are equally valued.
• Experience with scratch cooking, menu planning, soups, pantry preparation, breakfast service, or accommodating dietary restrictions is a plus.
• Knowledge of plate presentation, food cost awareness, and Mexican cuisine can help you make an immediate impact.
