Pay Rate: $18/hr

Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm

6 Month Contract

Description

We are seeking detail-oriented healthcare professionals to support clinical data abstraction and medical record review initiatives. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in physician practices, specialty clinics, or healthcare settings who are comfortable navigating EMR systems and interpreting clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review patient medical records and abstract clinical data into designated EMR systems.

• Accurately extract and enter cardiology-related chart information.

• Navigate multiple EMR platforms including Epic, Cerner, and GEMMS.

• Meet established productivity and quality standards.

• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

• Work independently in a remote environment following on-site training.

Skills

Epic, medical records management, Electronic Health Record, Certified Medical Assistant, clinical documentation improvement, cardiology terminology

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) required

• Certified Nursing Assistant will be considered if CMA are unavailable

• Prior healthcare experience in a clinical setting

• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
